DCC Has Openings for Alternates

Interested in serving on the Democratic Central Committee?

July marks the month when new committees are formed, new officers and new committee chairs are elected, and a new political year begins. There are currently several openings for Alternates, who participate in all DCC activities and may vote in their member’s absence. It is an excellent way to get involved in the day-to-day activities of the DCC and now is an excellent time to join. These members and their alternates will serve until the June 2010 election. If alternates choose to continue to serve, they may run for a seat as a member or request to continue as an alternate.

To apply to become an alternate, please contact us at 427-2516 and tell us which Supervisorial District you live in so we can put you in contact with the members who need alternates.

It is a good way to get involved with local Democratic politics!
