Get Involved

Any organization is only as good as the people who are working within it. The Santa Cruz Democratic Party wants to help local Santa Cruz Democrats become more involved! Where ever your interests lie, chances are there are there are many like-minded people in the DCC who also want to work in that area.

How to get involved?

  1. Sign up for our newsletter. Each month, we will send you our newsletter describing local political work andВ  political events that may be of interest to you.
  2. Check out the front page of our site often. You will find local political events that may be of interest to you.
  3. Join a Democratic Club. The Santa Cruz Democratic Party charters a number of local clubs to discuss local issues and organize Democrats around specific issues.
  4. Run for a Democratic Central Committee seat from your Supervisorial District and become an integral part of the Democratic Party here in Santa Cruz County. You may complete the required forms at the Santa Cruz Elections Office in the Santa Cruz County Building approximately one month before each General Election.
  5. Contribute financially:
    1. Donate to Act Blue to help us continue our work for you. or
    2. Send a check made out to SCCDCC at the address on the left sidebar of this page.
  6. We sincerely hope that every Democrat in Santa Cruz County can join us and become active as a DCC member, alternate, associate member, or as a contributor, a guest or a volunteer.
