California Democrats! It’s time to choose your delegates for the state Democratic Party!

Every two years, delegates are elected from each of the state’s Assembly Districts to vote and conduct Party business, including endorsements for statewide offices, positions on ballot propositions, and the establishment of the official California Democratic State Party Platform.

Delegate elections are open to all California Democrats either by mail or in person, but you must register with the state Party to be eligible.

Click here to register to vote by mail. Registration closes on December 31. Ballots must be received on or before January 31.

Click here to register to vote in person. In-person voting in Santa Cruz County will take place Saturday, January 21, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the county Democratic Central Committee headquarters, 740 Front St., Suite 165, Santa Cruz.
